About Me

Emmy Fritz

Greetings from Arvada, Colorado!

Curious and always exploring, I have many interests and accumulated many “talents.”

I can be your web-developer, montessori trained caretaker, or a fellow member of a musical ensemble… on a variety of instruments. I could be a coach in a variety of sports (tennis, pickleball, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, rollerblading, climbing, and more…) Thus, my current income comes from a variety of sources. I’m  a Montessori certified Substitute teacher after 6 years full-time intern, lead,, and assistant). I also take care of an elderly woman with a few times a week. I have worked as a web developer, and am aspiring to create a location-independent income for my future aspiration to live in a Permaculture Ecovillage. I am very interested in applications for recent developments in smart technology! I hope to use A.I. to its fullest capacity, for the benefit of humankind! I am very interested in helping people run ethical, conscious businesses, and assist them in their success with my skills in technology, moving towards automation of repetitive tasks, and adding an element of ease to our productive lives! See below? I haven’t replaced the images here with the new species of images! Stay tuned…

The Pilot

In 2019, I earned my Private Pilot’s License, which allows me to be pilot-in-command and take my friends and family along for the ride. In 2021, I began to work  towards my Instrument Rating, which would allow me to fly into clouds and receive more Air Traffic Control services during flights. I am an aspiring commercially licensed pilot, but that probably doesn’t mean what you first assumed it to mean. I would like to become proficient at backcountry flights, learn to fly amphibious float planes, tail draggers, and gliders. When I can finally get paid to fly, I would like to become a flight instructor, fly for parachuting/hang gliding operations, fly for med-Evac, or stock fish in a high alpine lake. I love small airplanes, general aviation, and the freedom to access all the places on our beautiful planet. One day, I would like to live on land with access to water, timber, gardens, mountain ranges, and a landing strip.

The Skier

I am a ski instructor based on Peak 8 in Breckenridge. I enjoy teaching groups of children and family privates. I live for powder days on extreme ♦♦ terrain, mogul runs, and getting a little lost in the tree glades. My favorite moments in teaching is when children learn to stop and turn, and I can take them on the chair lift for the first time. Once that skill is mastered, I enjoy exploring the mountain with my students and finding the perfect terrain for their goals and abilities!
